Heart AI Privacy Policy
What we collect
Heart AI works with an anonymous account identifier and never asks for your name, email or phone number. The nickname, AI friend settings, conversations and memories you create are stored only on your device.
Generating replies and memories
To write a reply, recent messages (up to 24), your nickname, your friend's settings and what your friend remembers are sent through our server (api.won-space.com) to our AI model provider (OpenAI). To refresh a friend's memory, up to 30 recent messages and the memories you deleted are sent as well. For safety, your messages and AI replies are checked with OpenAI moderation. The server does not keep conversation content; OpenAI may cache the start of a request for up to 24 hours to answer faster.
What our server keeps
To prevent abuse, the server keeps daily chat counts per anonymous id in Google Cloud Firestore for up to 30 days. It also keeps your star (in-app currency) balance, check-in, share, invite and ad reward records, invite code, unlocked friends, affection per friend, star purchase records, the birth year you give for the 19+ mode, and the outfits and selfies you get in the app (AI-drawn character pictures, stored in Cloudflare R2) with your anonymous id; these are removed when you delete your data. The pictures are drawn with OpenAI image generation (19+ outfits and selfies with xAI Grok image generation); only the character art and a description are sent, never your photos or conversations. Usage records (anonymous id, time, token counts) are kept to control cost and abuse.
Ads and purchases
Banner ads are shown unless you buy ad removal, and anyone may choose to watch rewarded ads. Google AdMob may process device information such as the advertising ID. To confirm ad rewards, your anonymous id is passed through AdMob to our server, and in some regions we ask for ad consent first. Premium subscriptions and star purchases are billed by Google Play or the App Store, and your anonymous id is shared with RevenueCat to check subscriptions and purchases. Card details never reach the app or our server.
Reports
When you report an AI reply, that message and the reason are written to server logs for review, and the reply is hidden from your chat.
Deleting data
Settings > Delete all data instantly removes the conversations, friends and memories stored on your device and your stars, affection, outfits and selfies on the server. Chat data is excluded from device backups and is removed when you uninstall the app. Server usage counts are deleted automatically after 30 days. For any other request, email us below.
